popular singer has just released a new music video featuring a song from the movie, When I Look at You which contains scenes from the movie.
In her new movie Cyrus plays another rebellious teen that has had trouble since her parents’ divorce. Her Mom feels it would be best if Cyrus and her younger brother go and spend the summer with their Dad.
Over time, Cyrus adjusts, and falls for a character played by rumored boyfriend Liam Hemsworth. She of course grows up some too and begins to reconnect with her Dad who shares her love of music. And since it is a Disney movie, they make sure to tighten the connections with Mom and little brother in the process as well.
Oddly enough the song was not written for the movie: 'When I Look at you' was actually a song that was going to go on my next record," explained Cyrus “We listened to it and went, 'Oh my gosh, this could not be more perfect.' It describes the entire movie."
The movie which is based on the book The Last Song was originally stated to be released on January 8, 2010 but that was changed to April 2, 2010. Then, in early February, Disney pushed the release up by 2 days to March 31, 2010.
