Glenn Beck, on his October 22 television show, told viewers he has said "too much". This statement proceeded a mysterious phone call that Beck answered live during his show with the message that the husband of White House Communications Director and FOX news attacker, Anita Dunn is getting a new job. According to Beck, a huge announcement is pending regarding Anita Dunn's husband, Robert Bauer's new "controversial" job.
But for some, Bauer's wife, Anita Dunn, is already fraught with controversy and Bauer, too, may have enough issues of his own.
There's Bauer's various associations with President Obama that has some raising their eyebrows. From Law.com:
"Robert Bauer has gone from being general counsel of Obama's presidential campaign to serving as GC of the Democratic National Committee. Bauer, 57, is also the top lawyer at Organizing for America (the rechristened version of the president's campaign vehicle), and continues to represent Obama on personal matters such as the corruption investigation of former Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich. Plus, Bauer works full-time at Perkins Coie, where he chairs the firm's political law group."
Perkins Coie is also the law firm defending President Obama against legal challenges to his "natural born" citizenship status. Some have also pointed out how Federal Election Commission records show Obama has given Perkins Coie over $600,000 this year and more than a million dollars since last October.
Additionally, Perkins Coie's has defended the controversial poltical organization, ACORN. When Robert Bauer was Obama's campaign lawyer, he sent a seven-page letter to the attorney general in reference to "unsupported, spurious allegations" being made against ACORN. The law firm of Perkins Coie also represented ACORN in a court case which has been described as protecting "the right to vote in Ohio".
If Glenn Beck's phone call message contained breaking news, will Anita Dunn's husband prove to be another stumbling block for the White House director of communications-- along with the controversy surrounding her previous statements?

Foolish man!: I DO watch AND listen to Glenn Beck, which is how I know he's a terrible person...where was he when Bush was in office? That was awful! A person in my family is a marine who was shot twice in the stomach during his second tour in Iraq and when he came back, Bush did nothing for him...W was the REAL enemy....

Fox is reporting Bauer is getting the White House General Cousel position. Gee.. if they had come to THIS blog 12 hours ago they would have seen my first post - declaring this.
Meanminute - Glenn did several stories back on cnn when Bush was in office that detailed his outrage over the treatment of veterans. 1/2 his show at the time was focused on forwarding the progress of several organizations that helped vets upon their return. And he blasted bush several times (especially on Immigration, the Stimulus and TARP). Glenn also hated GOP nominee John McCain with a vengeance for his left leaning policies and would be knocking him if he were pres (he is still knocking down John McCain at every opportunity in fact).

It's strange that Glenn Beck keeps talking about freedom of speech and how everyone has the right to "ask questions", but when a criticism site claimed he raped and murdered a girl in 1990 (not a real claim, of course, just a parody of Glenn Beck's system of "asking questions"), Glenn Beck tried to get the site down through international court. What's also strange is that Glenn Beck would rant about how good the Constitution was compared to International Law, yet, to get the critcism site down, he skipped good ol' American court to go to International court. Maybe he knew that they wouldn't treat him seriously in our court system? Maybe he'd be demoted to "hypocritical commentator"?
