Jive Records 2009: "Bigger" is the second single from This Is Us
The Backstreet Boys released their second single’s music video. “Bigger” is a catchy, poptastic track that would have made it to the top (surely) if it had been released back in the day, but as we know, the charts have changed, and although to each their own, many songs that are magnificently put together rarely see the light of day on top of the charts; C’est la vie.
This is way better than “Straight Through My Heart (Soldier Down)”, but it’s good to know that they’ll be able to show that the album, This Is Us, is actually a great pop album. The video is a mixture of The Killer’s “Read My Mind” and any of Gwen Stefani’s L.A.M.B. album’s videos. The cutesy scenarios in Japan aren’t really a scripted story, but it plays great background to the song.
Best part? The karaoke scenes, which are sort of a joke in themselves, if you consider the impact “I Want It That Way” had in Japan, and karaoke bars the world over.

great pop song that should make it to the top but wont as people today buy rubbish from groups like ndubz. at least it shows once again that backstreet are the best singers in the pop charts
