Although this was the most entertaining VMA Award show that MTV had in years, not one fashion that hit the Red Carpet was on point. Speaking of the entertainment, the tribute to MJ was astounding from beginning to end. Beyonce gave the hottest rendition of her billboard hit "Single Ladies" in a sexy embellished number and the performance of Jay Z featuring Alicia Keys who looked swaglicious in sequined leggings, a chic embellished top and platform stiletto’s while performing “Empire State of Mind” was the best closing of recent music awards on any network period.
Getting back to the looks on the Red Carpet. The worse look came from the ubber popular Lady Gaga because it was Avant Garde overload. The on the fence look came from the lovely and super talented Beyonce because her “Style Team” accessorized her wrong. However, the three people that impressed me most (head to toe) were Taylor Lautner (Twilight), Kristin Cavallari (Laguna Beach) and the super adorable Cassie (Singer).
*side bar* To the “Style Teams” of the fashion/entertainment industry I know celebs can be demanding and sometimes set in there ways but they hired you for a reason. Take control because that is your work out in public speaking for you.
