Fashion Mishap on First Lady Obama
I am so proud to have witnessed such an emotional historical event but I must admit that I was looking forward to seeing the ensemble of someone just as important. Last night I had goose bumps as President elect Barack Obama talked up his fashion savvy wife, Michelle Obama.
You can not imagine the butterflies that I felt anticipating for her to grace the stage in a gorgeous dress with little to no accessories and a mean pair of pumps. Once he finished his speech I saw a glimpse of her approaching the stage and from that moment on my eyes were glued to the TV only to end up disappointed. Michelle’s ensemble was an eye sore.
I always tell my clients for the very special events to step your style game way up and unfortunately this time around Michelle Obama has a miss. From this point on I advise that Lady Obama choose wisely when selecting a Wardrobe Stylist. It’s disappointing to know that it will go down in history that on such a historical day that Michelle Obama in the eyes of millions across the world made a fashion NO!
I like designer Narciso and I do not blame him. All the blame goes to Lady Obama’s Wardrobe Stylist. Wardrobe Stylist should know that some things should be left on the runway!

I totally agree that the dress was not suitable for Michelle. I too, was a bit disappointed at Michelle's pick, especially since her ensemble had been so fierce throughout the entire election campaign. However, I must admit that I did love her accessories. The bangles and earrings were HOT! Do you know if they were John Paul Hardy or David Yurman? Or, were they someone else?
I know it didn't want to speak my real thoughts on her outfit because people are so sensitive when it comes to our new President.
