Could it be that DC is finally catching the bug? What bug might you ask. It’s not any case of a cold or flu nor is it an actual insect. The bug I’m speaking of is true fashion. As I travel to and from I’m starting to see more people in DC catching on to something that NY, Paris and the UK is known for doing naturally and there are no words to describe how that makes me feel. No matter your style add fashion to it. Make it your own style tastefully mixed with creativity. Liven up DC. Add shock to your wardrobe whether it be for work, night or casual. You do this by learning what shapes, colors and style of clothing work for you. The next step is to collect timeless statement pieces, wardrobe essentials and learn how to mix prints. You should be able to walk in your closet and be surrounded by beautiful prints, color and great shapes. Get out of wearing basic colors all the time, loose the weave if it does nothing for you. Stop being afraid to cut your hair and learn to think outside the box, you just mind find you. Get a dose of a fashion upgrade.
