Have you ever seen a woman with an amazing healthy glow during the winter and you sought out all the wrong products to achieve that look but was unsuccessful? Or have you ever seen a woman with fierce sunkissed skin during the Summer and you thought to yourself that she must be pregnant or that she must have had to put on a lot of makeup to achieve that look, wrong! When pregnant our babies usually mess with our hormones to the point where we have to take all kinds of prenatal vitamins to put the healthy things back into our bodies and skin but that’s another topic. My point is there are two products floating through the beauty industry and in every talented Makeup Artist case which are used to achieve both looks and now you can too!
During the cold month’s of Winter think Baked Bronzer. To achieve this look follow these short steps: First, find your shade of Baked Bronzer. Second, using a small not large blush brush, apply the Bronzer to the apples of your cheeks in a cheek to temple motion, forehead, bridge of your nose and chin. Last step is to use a small or short handle flat top kabuki brush to buff out to a flawless even look. Take my advice and buy the flat top kabuki versus the round top. The reason is this, picture buffing something out, if you pictured it right you will think of using something flat. Also, make sure that you buy a kabuki brush of great quality and density (compact) to avoid an uneven look. NOTE: Make sure that you purchase baked bronzer to provide just the right matte glow. During the warm month’s of Summer think Highlight. To achieve this look is a bit different but not much, follow these steps: First, find your shade of Pigment Eyeshadow (yes pigment eyeshadow can be used in many different ways if applied right). Second, using an angled blush brush, sweep a very small amount of the pigment eyeshadow above (keyword above) your cheeks right on your cheek bone (using the same method above), forehead, bridge of your nose and chin and repeat the last step mentioned above. NOTE: Make sure that you apply very little of this product to your angled blush brush to avoid looking to shinny. That would just be embarrassing. Trust me learn these steps, buy the advised makeup brushes and you will never go back to having dull looking skin no matter the season ever again. Now go be fabulous! You can find any of the items shown above at any fine department store’s cosmetic counter or beauty retailer. 1.Angled Blush Brush, MAC 2.Blush Brush, MAC 3.Vanilla Pigment, MAC 4.Flat Top Kabuki Brush 5.Baked Bronzer, Physician’s Formula Until next time, Live Well & Live Fabulous!
