Super Model Lauren Hutton
I'm teased everyday for the gap in my teeth but the thing is I love that about me. It sets me apart from everyone else and makes me feel unique. The problem is with half my school making fun of my gap I smile less everyday even when I'm around family. Is there something I can do like change up my style to take the attention away from them focusing on my gap? Nicole - Jessup, MD.
Instead of allowing others to make you have a complex about something that you love about yourself, embrace it. There are many beautiful women who have made a very successful career for themselves all because of their flaw. Perfect example is the beautifully flawed Super model Lauren Hutton. She owes her fame and fortune to her flaw. If that doesn’t motivate you I don’t know what else will. What would the world be if we all looked alike, boring. School kids can be harsh but be strong, stay focused and associate yourself with positive people.

I have a gap in my teeth too and I notice the more I smile, the more compliments I get on my smile. No one can make fun of you when you are constantly showing off your great personality through a beautiful, beaming smile. The more people get in your face about it, the more you should get in their face with a huge smile. Show them you DON'T care and trust me, they will be more in awe of your commanding power and forget about that "flaw."
