Colorado Association for Gifted & Talented 2010 Parent Institute

The Colorado Association for Gifted and Talented (CAGT) will be hosting the 34th annual state conference and 2010 Parent Institute on October 18 and 19, 2010 at the Marriott Denver Tech Center, 4900 S. Syracuse St., Denver, CO.  The topic for both the conference and the Parent Institute is "Developing Student Potential: Responsive Instruction & Guidance." 

Speakers will cover in class differentiation, cluster grouping of gifted students, and helping gifted boys succeed in school as well as other topics relevant to the educational needs of gifted children.  The conference presentations are geared primarily toward educators while the Parent Institute, which takes place on Monday evening, October 18, 2010, covers similar information for parents.

Discounted early bird registration is in place through September 16, 2010.  The registration fee for the Parent Institute includes membership in CAGT for one year as well as access to CAGT's email newsletter, Kaleidoscope.  For more information, contact CAGT.
