Beatrice Velez graduated cum laude from the University of Puerto Rico. She has a bachelor of arts in Mass Communications, with a concentration in Journalism, and a master's degree in Business Administration. In addition to researching topics on education and children's overall development, she enjoys teaching Spanish using "play español"(sm) - an after-school program she developed six years ago. She believes keeping children challenged through fun, playful activities, is crucial to helping them reach their potential.
