With less than two weeks until Syfy begins airing new episodes of Ghost Hunters, fans of the show are becoming increasingly excited. Curiosity about the locations of investigations to be featured in the August 19 premiere is growing though it appears no such official information has been released by Syfy. As a result, many viewers have resorted to hopeful speculation and searching the internet for clues.
According to one website, the episode will have TAPS in Maryland investigating the Dr. Samuel A. Mudd House, known for being a stopping point for John Wilkes Booth along his escape route following the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln. The premiere is also said to feature an investigation of Virginia’s Edgewood Plantation.
Regular viewers of Ghost Hunters have come to expect compelling evidence of paranormal activity from locations that are tied in some historically significant way to the Civil War. With both investigations allegedly following that theme, it will be interesting to see if the premiere episode will meet, exceed or fall short of those expectations.
