Tokio Hotel's Bill Kaulitz's look was probably inspired by vampire films

According to a recent article on MTV.com, Tokio Hotel’s Bill Kaulitz wants to play a vampire in a Twilight movie. He admitted that he watched a lot of vampire movies and that has had an influence on him wanting to play a vampire in a film. But apparently his love of vampires hasn’t only inspired his future career aspirations, it inspired something else in him—his look.

Fashion Week or Film Premiere

In some ways a film premiere is also a fashion show. Tokio Hotel fans in Berlin witnessed that this week with the opening of “Arthur and the Invisibles 2”. TK front man Bill Kaulitz voiced the lead role of Arthur and was on hand to sign autographs.

According to TokioHotelRocks.com, Kaulitz arrived on the red carpet wearing a purple turtle neck, silver chains and a Cardigan sweater from the 2009 fall collection by Ann Demeulemeester. But according to an interview with the Bild Zeitung Online, designer clothes don’t necessarily play a role in Kaulitz’s fashion choices. He mentioned that he would buy a jacket for 10 euros from a second hand store if the jacket had a good look, although he certainly doesn’t need to shop second hand these days.

The Vampire Bill

His look, according to an interview with the Berliner Zeitung has evolved over time. By the time he was 11, he started dying his hair. Although he’s now famous for his androgynous look, it was something that developed over time. He admitted during the interview with the BZ that he watched a lot of vampire flicks when he was a kid and stated that he was probably inspired by that.
