Five-star cornerback Greg Reid picked the Florida State Seminoles over the Georgia Bulldogs today at an event in his hometown of Valdosta, GA. Reid, the number two rated CB according to ESPN, ultimately chose to the Seminoles due to the relationship he formed with the coaches over the last few months.
Reid is a very athletic and explosive playmaker and is a candidate to play as a freshman. Many thought that with his relationship to other UGA commitments Michael Gilliard, Dexter Moody and Washaun Ealey, Reid was a strong candidate to end up in Athens, but it wasn't meant to be.
This is the second five-star player that Georgia has missed in as many weeks as they recently lost recruit Bobby Massie to what is believed to be Alabama. However, Massie has not announced his college choice yet.
National Signing Day is tomorrow and UGA is still in the hunt for one of the nation's best wide receivers in Marlon Brown as well as safety Jawanza Starling. Top-rated tight end Orson Charles is not expected to announce his college decision until after National Signing Day.

Boy, Kit, I was just looking down your list of articles ... LOL ... not a positive recruiting season for UGA football thus far, huh? Better luck for us tomorrow--but, hey, the Gym Dogs are kicking tail, and sniffing down a FIFTH consecutive national championship! :D
