Geocacher name: Graylling
Real name: Tom Lafleur
Lives in: Airdrie
Type of GPS unit I use: GPS Map60csx, Colorado 300
I’ve been geocaching since: July 2002
Favourite cache in the last 60 days: GC259GQ, Apple Valley Travel Bug Barn
Favourite find: Too many to narrow it down to 1 cache.
Favourite cache I’ve hidden: 3 Isle Lake, GCGN91
I usually cache with: myself
I’ve logged caches in: Victoria, Winnipeg, Toronto, Thunder Bay, Regina, Cincinnati, Chicago, Chattanooga, Lexington, Sioux City and many others
The most difficult cache I’ve ever logged: not sure. I've done quite a few that were pretty difficult
Most unusual place I’ve found a geocache: inside an old tomb at a historical site
Most unusual container I’ve found: a micro tucked inside a pinecone
A funny thing happened on the way to the cache: nothing really, I guess I have rather ordinary cache hunts.
The best thing about geocaching is: being able to get out and enjoy the outdoors and to go to places I never would have gone if there wasn't a cache there. Meeting people along the way and making new friends.
