While many people love the sound of the birds chirping or a river rushing by while they are out geocaching, some like to listen to music. Even for nature purists, a little music beforehand can get the heart pumping and primed for retrieving the cache. Here are some musical suggestions depending on your hunting success…or lack of it.
Songs for Motivation:
“Get Up Offa That Thing” by James Brown.
“Just Around the Riverbend” from the Pocahontas Soundtrack. So is this micro geocache called ScPe's Wedge, GC27D1M
“C’Mon, C’Mon” by The Von Bondies
Songs for Cache Groups:
“I Got Friends in Low Places” by Garth Brooks
“Lost Together” by Blue Rodeo
“500 Miles” by The Proclaimers. And it is 500 miles from Calgary to this cache, Newcastle Island, GCQG11. Walking is not recommended.
Songs for Difficult Searches:
“How Long Blues” by Eric Clapton
I’ve Been Everywhere” by Johnny Cash (Johnny Cache?)
“You Can’t Always Get What You Want” by The Rolling Stones. But you may be able to collect Rolling Stone, GC13FK1.
Songs to Celebrate Finds:
“I Gotta Feelin’” by The Black-Eyed Peas
“Message in a Bottle” by The Police. Bo coincidence, it's also the name of this cache, GC2APRT.
“Thanks, That Was Fun” by The Barenaked Ladies
Now, get up offa that thing…and cache ‘til you feel better. Carpe cache!
