Ok Gen Xers, Cuba Gooding Jr. has just done us all a big favor. Gooding has reminded us that getting drunk in public and then attempting to make a speech, is a dumb idea. We should have all figured that out by the end of our twenty’s, but some folks are a little slower to learn from our mistakes than others. Drunken ramblings and quoting the Bible (or attempting to anyway)…not a good plan.

Cuba Gooding Jr., 42 found himself at a bar in Spokane, Washington having some drinks and hanging out with the guys. Gooding’s career has stalled, so maybe he was just looking to cut loose and forget about movie making. Well, maybe not, because in his drunken speech he starts it out with “Show me the money!” "Jerry Maguire" came out in 1996, and though Gooding won an Academy award for his role in the film, that line is old now.

Remember this Generation X, cameras, video cameras and cell phones with cameras are everywhere now. If you plan on getting drunk in public and making a goofy speech, you’ll probably find yourself on YouTube. If you are a celebrity, you’ll find yourself on a TMZ video.

Ive seen a lot of people do that, The only time they talk about God is when there drunk or High on something. He's a good actor. More power to the Bible thumpers, at least there reading it.
