Vaness Marcil, who originated the character of fan favorite Brenda Barrett in 1992, will reprise her Emmy winning role (Outstanding supporting actress for her 2003 short term stint) later this summer.
Brenda's return to Port Charles is said to make make quite the impact, and of course, we would expect nothing less of the character who continually sets Sonny Corinthos and Jasper Jacks's hearts afire and rivalry at its highest level. Brenda's secrets will wreak major havoc in Port Charles. Could she be tied to Franco?!...Sounds pretty Brenda-esque to me...
Vanessa's first air date is August 11th.

I dont think I have ever been this excite, excpet for when VM returned back in 2002-2003, WOOT WOOT, I need Sonny and Brenda back 2gether, screw Jax, he broke her heart too bad the last time...he knew what getting left at the alter did to her the first time, being humilated and he did it to her agian...long live the love between Brenda and Sonny...
