GEEK THEATER LOVERS!

Fight Fest - schedule varies, check website - $18 - if you love kung-fu movies, Klingons, or b-movies from the 60s, chances are you love watching people fight.  Check out this theater festival devoted entirely to stage combat and watch people pummel each other guilt-free! FILM GEEKS!
Inglorious Basterds released on DVD - $34.98 - you can now bring home Quentin Tarantino's amazing and hilarious Jewish revenge film!  If you haven't yet seen it, do yourself a favor and pick it up.  Brad Pitt gives a wonderful performance, but it's Christoph Waltz (as Nazi colonel, Hans Landa) and Melanie Laurent (Shoshanna Dreyfus) who steal the film.  The 2-disc set features a making-of documentary of Eli Roth's film-within-a-film, Nation's Pride.

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 16TH

COMIC GEEKS/SEX GEEKS!
Scarlett Takes Manhattan discussion - 7:30PM - $5 - join artist Molly Crabapple and writer John Leavitt at the Museum of Sex (233 5th Ave, Manhattan) for a discussion of their saucy collaboration, the Gilded Age era graphic novel, Scarlett Takes Manhattan.  They will discuss the book as well as the history of sex and the performing arts in NYC with moderator, writer Trav S.D.  Complimentary Original Sin cider!             Visit Molly Crabapple's website.

Comic Book Jones' 2nd Anniversary Celebration! - ALL DAY - FREE - this quality comic shop in Staten Island is celebrating its 2nd anniversary with a day-long party that includes a 25% off everything sale and an amazing signing schedule that includes: Ben McCool (writer of Image's upcoming title Choker!), Mike Cruz (Million Dollar Eyes), Evan Dorkin (Beasts of Burden, Milk & Cheese), Bryan J.L.
