• Cruise ship offers all inclusive option: Newwest Special Projects LP, in partnership with Norwegian Cruise Lines, is offering 2010 Olympic Winter Games accommodation on the cruise ship Norwegian Star, which will be moored in North Vancouver (across from Stanley Park). On-board stays will include meals, transfers, entertainment and just about everything that guests would expect on a cruise. • Rent a house or condo for a local experience: Make like a local during the 2010 Winter Games by renting a house, condominium, apartment, or by staying in a bed and breakfast. • RV option for an Olympic experience: Although most permanent RV parks surrounding Vancouver are sold out for the 2010 Winter Games, the newest accommodation announcement is that recreational vehicles (RVs) will be allowed to park at Jericho and Spanish Banks beaches during the 2010 Olympic Winter Games for just $95 CAD per night. • Backpacker's budget Games getaway: You don't have to spend a lot to be in Vancouver during the 2010 Winter Games: SameSun Backpacker Lodge in downtown Vancouver currently has dorm-style accommodation available for $39.50 CAD per night (price includes breakfast and tax). Hostelling International also has space available at its three Vancouver hostels during the Games period. To get tickets, the Vancouver Organizing Committee will be operating an authorized online ticket re-sale program where you'll be able to purchase tickets at face value that others were not able to use.
