Good news if you plan a trip to the Mexican State of Jalisco, which includes the tourist Mecca Puerto Vallarta as well its capital and largest city, Guadalajara.
The English language paper in Guadalajara, the Guadalajara Reporter, reports that health officials on Sunday say that all 18 suspected cases of swine flu turned out negative. Click here to go directly to that article.

Thanks for the info Ed!
My gf and I are still thinking about leaving for PV on Wednesday. Can anyone confirm that only clubs are closed and not also restaurants?
Most restaurants are open and some bars. No one has any idea what logic they are using, because some bars are allowed to be open, others are not.
I am going to Puerto Vallarta on May 9th, do you think everything will still be closed?
Got something to say?
