That Scooty & JoJo are at it again! This time they're doing brunch, can you believe it?
Every Sunday Scooty & JoJo are taking over the main dining room at The Spot in Uptown and turning it into a 'glamor den where they're entertaining their guests with their unique brand of song, smarts, and sass'
Scooty & JoJo are the forces behind 'Carpenter's Halloween' the hilarious mix of John Carpenter's classic film "Halloween" set to songs by Richard & Karen Carpenter - check out the review from last year.
If their Diva Brunch is anything like that, then you're bound for a good time. I've heard that they have plans to bring in Cabaret singers, gender-illusionists (the polite name for Drag Queens) and who knows who. Last week they had the cast of Kuma Satra performing!
They're offering two seatings every Sunday, at 11AM and 1PM. Brunch packages start at $35/person and includes the show, an entree from the exclusive brunch menu, coffee or tea AND unlimited mimosas and bellinis for the duration of the show. Did you hear that? unlimited mimosas and bellinis'
This week Scooty & JoJo are inviting along Musical Theater Diva - Bethany Thomas, Drag Artist - Vallery Dolls and the cast from "Rubbed - The Musical" They can rub me the wrong way and I wouldn't mind!
