Today is National Honey Bee Awareness Day. Honey bees, along with other beneficial insects, are a gardener's best friend. Can you imagine a world without honey bees?

Have you noticed a decline in honeybees in your garden? Take a moment today and notice if you see many bees. Other things you can do:
- Plant flowers that attract bees.
- Consider keeping a hive of your own (check local regulations).
- Support local beekeepers through buying their honey and other products.
- Reduce the use of harsh chemicals and pesticides in your garden. Encourage others to also use organic methods of pest control.
