The garden shed in the Monet Garden
2,500 luminaries will line the sidewalks of the Overland Park Arboretum and Botanical Gardens celebrating the 10th anniversary of the candlelight stroll. The mile long path will go through the Woodland Gardens and past the lake by the Monet Gardens. The garden shed, in the Monet Garden, will even be lit up for the event as will many displays throughout the walk.
Greeting visitors to the Arboretum will be carolers from schools and 4H clubs. Refreshments will be served, a bonfire will keep visitors warm, and Santa Claus will visit each night from 6-8pm.
The Holiday Luminary Walk is November 27-28 and December 4-5, 5-8:30pm. Admission is $6, ages 5-11 $5, and 4 and under free.
