The Atlanta Botanical Garden will be hosting tree and shrub pruning classes on January 23 and 30, 2010. Brushing up on your tree and shrub pruning skills will come in handy as we go into the pruning season.
"Now is the time to learn how to prune your trees and shrubs properly. A detailed discussion of pruning guidelines and principles will be followed by a demonstration in the Garden. Early registration is recommended for this popular class." (From the Atlanta Botanical Garden class description.)
Dates and times are: Saturday, January 23 or Saturday, January 30 10 a.m. - noon. Registration deadlines are January 19 and 26, respectively. Cost is $25 or $20 for members. Check out their website for membership information.
