Atlantica Online, one of the leading F2P MMORPGs, has announced an increase in the level-cap from 120 to 130, in addition to a new mercenary, Minstrel Paganini, and two new dungeons.
Arriving on the heels of Hwarang, a mercenary released last month, Paganini is balanced for both offensive and defensive roles and is especially useful against saw-type mercenaries.
Based around the works of Vincent Van Hogh, one of the new dungeons will lead players into living versions of his paintings, to battle 'surreal' monsters and ultimately discover the source of the famed painter's insanity. For doing so, players will be awarded the new set of Dragon God armor, equipment that will grant 'unique abilities'.
The second dungeon, Palace of Night, is ruled by three sub-bosses, each with its own different strategy. Details of the quests surrounding the dungeon and the story behind them have yet to be released, though the difficulty of the three new bosses has been touted as being for 'experienced players' only.
Alongside the level-cap being increased from 120 to 130, the magic level max has been raised to 70 and the crafting level max to 120. Atlas Ore has been replaced with Oriharukon Enhance Stones which, quoting a recent press release, "... promises to do everything Oriharukon does and more!"
