So, the first episode of ABC's The Bachelor aired Monday, January 5th. Jake Pavelka met twenty-five gorgeous women and had to narrow the field down to fifteen. If you played the Rose Ceremony game prior to the kick off, you can find out who he picked, and determine the points you earned by going to the Rose Ceremony Game site now.
The Bachelor's first episode
During the first episode, the women played football in their gowns, one woman changed into a Halloween-type costume to look like a sexy flight attendant, another tripped during her walk toward Jake and landed in his arms, two women have already cried and one gave Jake clearance to "land on her strip anytime" or something to that effect.
Who will get the roses next week on The Bachelor?
Now that we've gotten to see each woman in action and observe Jake's interest in them, hopefully, picking next week's winners will be easier? Well, there's really no guarantee in that, but it will be fun to see how well we can look into his heart each week. And the rumor is that one of the women has a romantic encounter with one of The Bachelor's crew and gets kicked off. Who would do that?
Can you still play the game if you didn't play last week?
If you missed picking The Bachelor's first fifteen choices, you can still participate in the game. And don't worry, your two lowest scoring weeks will be dropped in the overall competition for the grand prize. For me, my pre-show analysis based on each woman's physical appearance and career worked fairly well, but I was definitely surprised by a few of Jake's picks. And I have to say after watching the show, it most surprised me that Jake gave Michelle a rose. Is this an ABC stunt?
Well, now that this little guilty pleasure of a show has begun, we girls are hooked, right? Who doesn't want to see Jake flex those guns and show off his six-pack again?
Make your guess as to which women "The Bachelor" will pick next episode right now before you forget who did what during this one! (Don't forget to answer the trivia questions too!) DVR the next episode, and don't erase it until you've played the Bachelor Rose Ceremony Game next week! The grand prize of this year's Rose Ceremony game is an 8-day/7-night trip for two to St. Lucia staying at the Jalousie Plantation! As well, each week there is a gift bag valued at over $3,000!
