Google Voice is headed to Verizon.
It definitely feels like living the Twilight Zone this morning.
Well, Verizon and Google made a pretty huge announcement this morning regarding an upcoming partnership.
Yes, Google will be bringing two Android phones to Verizon over the next couple of weeks, one of them potentially being the Motorola Sholes which was leaked way back in July as a possibility for an Android based phone on Verizon.
The new phones may not even be the best part here. May not, because Google has said that one of the phones will be “game-changing”, whatever that is supposed to mean.
So what is?
Oh, well you know that application called Google Voice that AT&T and Apple decided was best to turn down? Well, Verizon is embracing it and it will be supported over their network.
Pretty cool.
It’s a little early to think of this as completely game changing, but it should make for a pretty good partnership. It should also get people on Verizon excited about the potential for these two new Android devices.
Having Google Voice enabled doesn’t hurt either.

That's nice and all. Tell me something about Sprint and my Palm Pre instead!
