If you thought the Motorola Droid was huge, think again.
A trusted source has revealed to Gizmodo that the Google Phone, a piece of hardware created by Google and running an unknown version of Android is in fact a real device and will hit Google offices in primitive form “over the next few weeks.”
Nice, very nice.
The coolest part about this is that the source also revealed that the current Android is not the “real” Android and that the Google Phone will be running this “real” version of Android. Giz thinks that it will be Android centered around Google Voice.
And no, the software spotted was apparently not Chrome OS.
Details are scarce on what exactly the phone is going to look like hardware wise, but you know if Google is releasing its own phone, it’s going to be a hit.
Remember, it’s a rumor, but hopefully, it proves fruitful.

The hype is nice. But for me to get TRULY excited is when these (not just a true Google phone) Android based phones start being offered through companies like TracFone.
