Not looking to spend much on a phone and you want to give webOS a go? Well, today might be your lucky day, you know, if you haven’t already been sucked in by the Droid phones or you already own an Apple iPhone.
You may remember the Palm Pixi. If not, Pixi – reader, reader – Pixi. It’s Palm’s lower-end phone that is less powerful than the Pre, however, also much cheaper which will delight people who don’t like forking over a fortune when purchasing phones.
There are still people out there like that right?
If there is, you will probably want to look at this deal from Walmart’s partner, LetsTalk which drops the Pixi price all the way down to a mere $30. Engadget warns that they have heard some bad things about LetsTalk rebates in the past, but man, for $30, it could be pretty hard to pass this up.
Go here and take a look, it’s at the bottom of the page.

That looks to be an instant discount rather than a rebate. Assuming Wal-Mart follows the traditional meaning of "instant".
Agreed, but I still think they call it a rebate for one reason or another.
The launch price is $24.99 at big Sprint retailer Wirefly.com with no rebates, and unlike LetsTalk/WalMart who charges $80 for the 2nd phone, Wirefly's price includes family plans.
