What a difference a day makes huh?
A day after the Motorola Droid Shadow aka the Motorola Droid Xtreme was outed as the Motorola Droid X, the clearest images we’ve seen of the phone that is likely headed to Verizon in July emerged. Doesn’t the X look good San Francisco?

Anyway, now that we’ve feasted our eyes on the beast and we know what the name likely is and what carrier it’s going to, so there is one thing left that needs to be uncovered and that is the specs which we kinda, sorta already know.
Now depending on whom you believe, the screen is going to be 4.3 inches or 4.1 inches. The guys who leaked these photos are saying 4.3 which is nice. It also packs a 750Mhz TI OMAP3630 processor processor, HD video recording, HDMI out, Android 2.1, and of course that new MotoBlur that has been dubbed Ninjablur and seems partially responsible for the phone’s speed.
So it looks to be a pretty nice phone.
And according to the report, the phone is set for that July release and employee training for it will begin at the end of this month.
As soon as a concrete date appears, you know where to come look. For now, you will have to settle for Droid’s that are actually on the market, and you can find those at your local SF Verizon store.

i agree, motoblur sucks. even if they have a newer version of it on here, i will not buy this phone because of it. Everyone hated motoblur to begin with, why would they even bother! other then that phone looks sic, but i fear that is going to be too clunky and heavy. Why is apple the only company that design a good looking phone?

The droid X comes with android 2.1(upgradable to android 2.2 later this summer). An entirely different version of motoblur is running on top of android 2.1. In other words this device is an android powered smart phone. You wont even notice the motoblur when using the device, motoblur is integrated into the android 2.1 and is only in charge of social networking updates. As a user you still have the option to download individual apps to manage social networking sites.
