iPhone OS 3.1.2 is released

Apple released OS 3.1.2 today.

Just like that, Apple has released another update to their iPhone operating system and while it doesn’t scream big updates, it surely should fix a few bugs that people were getting really annoyed about.

While the release just hit iTunes, some of the known fixes are:

Resolves sporadic issue that may cause iPhone to not wake from sleep
Resolves intermittent issue that may interrupt cellular network services until restart
Fixes bug that could cause occasional crash during video streaming

It also apparently updates AT&T to 5.6.

Check back here for more updates as the release makes its rounds. No telling how this might affect the recent jailbreak for the iPhone 3GS either.

Or Palm’s recent update that allows for iTunes syncing once again on the Pre.
