A day before Apple’s new iPhone goes up for pre-order; there is news that certainly might keep a few people from placing their orders tomorrow morning. In fact, we might even see some people in the streets carrying pitchforks.
According to a report that cites an internal AT&T document, the all-white iPhone 4 that many of you in San Francisco were looking forward to snagging will apparently not be available until sometime later this summer. Yes, that includes both the 16GB and the 32GB version of the phone.
Whether or not it will be available for pre-order obviously will be revealed tomorrow.
Now, don’t get upset just yet because Steve Jobs and Co never mentioned anything about this during the WWDC keynote so it’s a little suspect but hey, less than 24 hours until we know for sure, right? And this is only through AT&T but it wouldn't make sense that AT&T would be the one getting the short end of the stick.
So, San Francisco, is the lack of a white iPhone going to stop you from pulling the trigger on a new iPhone?
That would be a strange reason but hey, some people are really picky about design and there is no denying that the all-white iPhone 4 is pretty sexy looking. Still, it would have been nice to have some warning if this is indeed true.
Stay tuned.
