It appears as though the HTC Droid Eris has been unboxed and Boy Genius Report was been happy deliver their first impressions which certainly bode well for those of you who were taking a look at picking one of these up.
They exclaimed, very poignantly:
We could bore you with meaningless details about how the phone is thinner and lighter than the Sprint HTC Hero, feels much better in the hand, and is generally the best Android device besides the Motorola DROID our connect has used, but we’ll stop there.
So, stop, think about what you’re doing, put that Hero down and take a deep breath. This is a big decision, but from the looks of things, it appears that the Droid Eris might be the phone to go with.
Remember, it too comes out this Friday along with the much hyped Motorola Droid that you have seen by now, and if you haven’t, here is the crazy, insane budget, Stealth commercial they released for it recently.
Before you do anything in drastic, keep the words, thinner and lighter in mind.
Friday will be big.
