That’s the word boys and girls.

Apple, according to an insider source who supplied information to Fox News, is planning on holding some sort of media event on January 26th that supposedly is going to be “big” and focus on “mobility space” which means it’s going to have something to do with the iPhone or the iPod Touch.

Or maybe that iSlate/iGuide/Apple Tablet thingamajig that’s been torturing us for so long.

I’m leaning towards Tablet or iPhone announcement rather than something to do with the iPod Touch. Ok, it’s probably going to be the Tablet. Of course, there is nothing officially announced yet, which is the Apple way, but it looks like something big will be going down in the Bay Area in late January.

This of course follows the mysteriously Android conference that Google has called on January 5th in Mountain View.

Oh and the latest about the Apple Tablet?

From Mac Rumors:

…a blog post apparently from former Google China president Kai-Fu Lee claiming that device will in fact be introduced in January at a price point of under $1000 and will carry a 10.1" multi-touch screen and offer an "amazing user interface", video conferencing capabilities, and e-book offerings in a package described as a "large iPhone". Lee also claims that Apple is expecting first-year sales of 10 million units, far above most observers' expectations at this time.

Can it just come out already?

What is amazing about Apple is their total disregard for recycling their old iPhones and such. Their stores won't take older models on trade ins and had no suggestions for recycling.

With all the problems in this world, you pick on Apple for not recycling their iPhones ? Oh . . . I thought starvation, global warming, and a few wars were importiant. Guess not, eh ? ( Have you bothered to Google " e-waste recycling " ? )
