There may be no space shuttles transporting families to vacations on the Moon or Mars. There aren't yet transporters to beam us up from the surface of a planet to the orbiting space ship. And flying cars aren't yet available to anyone outside of a mad scientist.
Although all of those great inventions aren't available yet, we do have a glimpse into the future with the i-Tech Virtual Keyboard, a Bluetooth connected, laser projected keyboard. This tiny 3.5" tall device projects a keyboard onto a flat surface. Like all new keyboards it takes some training to use, but you can type away at your text messages or emails on your smart phone to the tune of simulated clicking keys. This keyboard allows you to have a full sized QWERTY keyboard available for use with any PDA or cell phone that uses Palm OS 5, PocketPC, Windows Mobile, Symbian OS, Windows XP and Mac OSX (limited). The rechargeable battery lasts for approximately 2 hours of continuous typing, which will get you through just about any layover at the airport.
