If shivering in line during the wee hours ain't your thing, then you need to check out Cyber Monday.
Now that Black Friday is quickly coming to a close, some retailers are already moving on to the next big retail event of the season, Cyber Monday. Over 550 internet retailers will be offering special sales on November 30th, including major retailers like Sears and Kmart, who released partial lists of their deals for Monday. Here are the electronics prices released so far:
Sears:
Haier 19-inch LCD HDTV $179.99 (regularly $229.99)
LG 55-inch 1080P LCD HDTV $1,779.99 (regularly $2,279.99)
Coby 22-inch LCD HDTV with DVD player $249.99 (regularly $279.99)
Kmart:
Haier 26-inch Widescreen LCD TV/DVD Combo $359.99 (regularly $469.99)
To take advantage of these specials, log onto sears.com and kmart.com on Monday 11/30.
The term "Cyber Monday" was coined in 2005 by the National Retail Federation, which is the same organization that maintains cybermonday.com. That's where you can find the rest of the specials being offered on the 30th. They will also offer hourly specials, with a new deal popping up on the site every 60 minutes.
If you go to cybermonday.com right now, they are posting Black Friday deals throughout the weekend, leading up to Cyber Monday.
