Accoutibuds have ridges that hold the earbud in your ear
One of the most common problems with earbuds is that they tend to fall out easily. They also provide fairly poor isolation from outside noise. Two of the companies that provide adapters to address these issues are Accoustibuds and Yurbuds – both of which exhibited recently at CES.
Accoustibuds earbud adapters have plastic ridges that help hold earbuds in the ear and provide a degree of outside noise isolation. They come in two sizes – you choose the one that fits best.

Yourbuds use the outer ear to hold your earbuds into place.
Yurbuds takes a different approach to fitting. You submit or Email a picture of your ear while you are holding up a quarter near your earlobe. This allows Yurbuds to choose the size that is best for your ear. Unlike Accoustibuds, where the plastic ridges inside the hear hold the earbud in place, with Yurbuds the larger adapter fits snugly in the outer ear. An iPhone application for sizing and ordering Yurbuds is also available.
In comparing the two, the amount of noise isolation provided is similar to both. Neither are as good as true in-ear headphones. But in terms of holding the earbuds in place, the properly fitted Yourbuds are nothing short of remarkable. Not only do they not shake loose even during strenuous physical activity such as jogging or running – it takes a pretty substantial tug to pull them out (but don't worry, they left out easily when you're finished using them).

I prefer Yurbuds. They are just more comfortable and I think they sound better too.
