Verizon: What type of iPhone will they get in 2010?

Verizon iPhone coming soon

This column was the first to report that Verizon will indeed get the Palm Pre in early 2010 despite rumors to the contrary. The same source that gave us this exclusive information more or less confirmed that Verizon will get the iPhone in 2010 - most likely in late June or early July. But will it be the 2.8 inch screen mini iPhone that many believe Verizon will sell?

Our source tells us that there is indeed a 2.8 inch screen mini iPhone being made, but that Verizon may end up with an iPhone that has a much bigger screen than the 2.8 inch version. He also tells us that we can look forward to a higher resolution screen than the current 480 x 320 resolution screens that are starting to become a thing of the past.

No matter what kind of iPhone Verizon gets next year, Verizon will likely continue its large lead ahead of other services in terms of revenue and quality.
