iPad: The new "Jesus" device?

Apple store employees may complain that they are underpaid. However, they will get the first glimpse of the hottest gadget in years, the iPad, on March 10. This will be around the time training begins for the device. We not only heard this from inside sources, but confirmed it with an Apple Store manager in Southern California who wishes not to be named.
Here are some other interesting roots from the grapevine:
- The actual release date hasn't been set, but March 26 is very likely.
- The 3G versions won't be available until April or May.
- Commercials will start airing on March 15. E-book capabilities will be emphasized.
- People who camp out for the iPad lauch will receive a "special gift."
Let's hope that the rumors of production problems won't delay the release. Until then, we can all dream about the next "Jesus" device.

I actually heard they will receive it on March 12, but you are close enough.
Ads emphasizing eBook capabilities seem unlikely. In Apple's talking points about the device eBooks is way down at the end of the list.
If "Pam" from the internet says it's March 12, that's good enough for me!

seriously. this seems sooooo outta touch with anything apple does. very unlikely to happen. seeing as most apple employees didnt get to see the iPhone until about 1 HOUR before launch.
plus why would they need to be trained? its the same OS as ipod touch and iphone. silly silly rumors
