Let me start by saying I do not condone smoking in any way shape or form. Now with that said, unfortunately I am a smoker. However I am in the process of quitting…AGAIN.
I have quit in the past with the help of medication. This time I wanted to give something else a try. When I was given the opportunity to review the White Cloud Cirrus II Electronic Cigarette, I instantly jumped at the chance. And why am I dong this for a gadget/tech site? Well after all, it is an electronic device.
I will say that the Cirrus II Electronic Cigarette is not in any way marketed as a “stop smoking” product. However it is marketed as a “clean” alternative to a regular cigarette. When I say “clean” I am referring to the fact that these e-cigs do not contain any tobacco, tar or any of the other 600 chemicals found in tobacco cigarettes. They don’t even contain smoke. That’s right NO SMOKE! You will see an odorless white vapor after taking a drag from the e-cig, and that’s about it.
This product is a great alternative to the real thing. Plus they actually taste good… It’s hard to say exactly what they taste like but to give you an idea, they taste like a very clean cigarette. Even though they do not contain tobacco they do still contain nicotine (which is actually not the harmful part of a cigarette). And they are available in different strengths to suit your needs. So as a smoker you still get the same fulfillment as you would with a regular cigarette. Plus you have your choice of tobacco flavor, menthol, or your choice of multiple different flavors from chocolate to whiskey. That is actually a bigger variety than a cigarette. You still get the sensation of a real cigarette but without the major downfalls of them. Not only can you smoke with a lot less guilt, but you can do it just about anywhere without making most people angry.

That is more than enough to get you started. Considering that one SimpleSmoke cartridge is the equivalent of 40 cigarettes or about 300-400 puffs. But before you actually get started you are going to have to charge your cigarette. Now I know that sounds funny but right out of the box they come with about a 90% charge already. So you literally are able to try these out right when you open the box. With your starter kit you actually receive 2 rechargeable batteries(which is the actual long part of the cigarette). With two you can always make sure you have one charged if the other battery gets too low, plus they only take 60-75 minutes to charge. You can always purchase an extra proprietary usb charger if you need to. If and when you need more supplies, you can just go to http://www.whitecloudcigarettes.com. You will be able to order everything from car chargers to clamshell cigarette cases made specifically for your E-cigarette.
This product is a bit on the pricey side, with a starting cost of $249.99. And that is just for the starter kit. Then you still have to add on the accessories, which can range from $10 to $40 each. And don’t forget that about every time you have to replace the simple smoke cartridges (which come 5 in a pack… so that is the equivalent of about a carton). Which in actuality are priced pretty good, at only $19.95. With that said, in the long run, could this product save you money and possibly help you quit all together? Sure! Even if you don’t quit at least it’s a lot less harmful than a regular cigarette.
Has this product help me quit smoking you ask?…Not yet… But at least while I am still smoking I am doing so with a lot less hassle from people around me! So all in all this device is NOT made to get you to quit smoking, but it is made to get you to stay away from tobacco cigarettes. If you do continue to smoke, I DO recommend this product purely based on the fact that it is a much "cleaner" alternative to a normal cigarette. And they have a HUGE variety of different "flavors" to choose from. They offer everything from chocolate to whiskey and espresso to banana and vanilla.
The White Cloud smokeless cigarette is supremely convenient. While other e-cigarette brands require you to frequently change their atomizers (which involves the handling and leaking of messy nicotine fluid,) you’ll never need to handle or maintain any part of the White Cloud Cirrus. That’s because a new, fresh atomizer is included inside each White Cloud Cigarette cartridge. So when it’s time for a new cartridge, simply throw the old one away and replace it with a new one. There’s no inconvenience, and no mess. This feature alone is great! I have tried alot of the other brands out there and they are just a pain to deal with. The Cirrus II is all the joy of a terrible vice with none of the troublesome maintenance :)
So at the end of the day even though this product is on the expensive side, I would still recommend it to anyone out there that is a smoker that is looking for an alternative and looking to get less grief from the people around them. For me, aside form the fact that they are a bit longer than a regular cigarette I personally enjoyed them and I plan to continue using this product. After smoking one of these I did not have the urge at all to smoke a normal cigarette. So when it’s all said and done I am going to continue using them, at least until I totally quit. So dish out the money up front and in the long run it will pay for itself and save you money… So to all of the smokers out there reading this, I would say smoke away and like I said before do it with a lot less guilt.
White Cloud has done a wonderful job creating this close to perfect product. I am now able to smoke in my house and my car (which is awesome on those long trips out of town). The one and only issue I have with the Cirrus II is the fact that it is still a bit long...it stands just a tad longer than a 100 cigarette. However it is significantly shorter than the original Cirrus e-Cig. Some of the changes that have been made from the 1st generation to the 2nd generation are absolutely amazing. The cigarette itself is about 30% shorter, 30% lighter, twice the amount of vapor per puff, it has a much easier drag or pull, and it even holds a much longer charge. I say kudos to White Cloud and please keep up the good work.

i think the idea of an electronic cigarette is a great one. cigarette smoke is disgusting, annoying, and deadly. if this device helps people to stop smoking, then i'm all for it.
Wow, I've heard a lot about an electronic cigarette, but mostly that it is crazy expensive. Also, I am just confused about it, because even though cigarette smoke smells awful, it also smells kinda good. What is the benefit to smoking this? http://www.myluci.com

I come to White Cloud from Winston full 100′s. 2 packs a day. I purchased, and tried the “Smoking Everywhere” eCig, and frankly that turned me off completely to e-cigarettes. The mess alone was intolerable, not to mention the cartridges lasted a full 15 puffs (no joke). Recently though, when at the mall I walked past a White Cloud kiosk, and figured I would talk to the gent running it. I’m glad I did. After considering a purchase for a few weeks I ended up with the Cirrus II, and 2 boxes of cartridges. I bought the kit 4 days ago, and am now on my 2nd cartridge. In case that doesn’t mean anything to you yet, each cartridge is advertised as the equivalent of 2 packs of cigarettes. Note: I was smoking 100′s full flavor, and I am only on my second cartridge. From a financial perspective (2 packs a day of Winston’s = $12, 1 cartridge of White Cloud = $4. I am already ahead by $40 — math is $12 (2 packs a day) * 4 = $48 – $8 (2 cartridges) = $40). I’m looking at a full ROI in approximately 27 days!!
Earlier today it stopped generating the vapor. Of course I was livid! I went straight back to my experience with Smoking Everywhere; with their lovely BS cartridges. I have to say though it turned out to be the battery. I was using the same battery (straight out of the box) that I got 4 days ago. Once I changed the battery it went right back to doing what it is supposed to do.
To wrap up I am very happy, impressed, and validated in my purchase of this product. I would, and am recommending to my friends that smoke.
Do your research (you’d be a fool not to), but I highly recommend this product. I have never had the opportunity to post something positive about a product, and the length of this should give an indication of how well this product is constructed, engineered, etc… At least in my albeit humble opinion.

White cloud filters are more money than most of others, but BEST MONEY YOU'LL SPEND! There's a reason there's a saying "You get what you pay for" and believe me, I tried to buy from a local retailer here in Ogden, UT (electronicstix.com) and was very disappointed and came right back to White Cloud & Patty. White Cloud Cigarettes should give Patty a huge raise, she is the best out there, and to me that's just as important as the product I'm buying. I'll never go somewhere else for e-cigs, thanks White Cloud!!

In NY cigs are 12.00 a pack, I smoke a little over a pack a day, which is a HUGE money drain, I discovered E cigs online, and after shopping and comparing reviews, I decided to go with White Cloud, just like the web site says "Guilt free smoking", at 2.00 a pack, no smell, no restrictions (except for airplanes), AWESOME product, it has changed my life, and, I enjoy White Cloud way over traditional smokes, specially, since the cost of my habit went down from close to 400. a month, to about 60. a month.
