I came across this handy little application for my iPod touch. The app is great for anyone who needs some helpful tips on how to succeed. The app is called Dale Carnegie-Secrets to Success. There is a good chance that you may have heard of Dale Carnegie before. He is known for developing the performance of people for business and overall daily life. He has written a few other books, but since this is in application form, you can take it where ever you go.
This is really one of the most practical business app? I know that I'm willing to take all the help I can get. And to have this indispensable pocket coach is the next best thing to having Mr. Carnegie on speed dial.
I swear, it seems as as if there is a valuable section in this app for you to refer to in regards to just about every scenario you can imagine. When you open the app you come to the home screen with four main topic areas, which I will talk about in a minute. The one thing that I love about the home screen is the "daily Dose of confidence"! There is a small section about halfway down that shows some type of motivational quote or phrase. At the bottom there is a tool bar of sorts with the different sections of the app that allow you to jump right to the preferred section.
The first section is the Human Relations portion, which shows you different principles to help reduce stress. The next section is the "stop worrying" portion, which basically offers up different categories that you can choose from that will inform you of different ways to overcome stressful scenarios. I personally love this section.
Next is the valuable tips section, which shows you different tips or suggestions on how to handle different workplace scenarios, such as team building, time management and conflict resolution. Like I said, there is something in here for just about every scenario you can imagine. The last section is probably most useful. It is the video section. This portion of the app has 30 videos that show you the most effective ways to implement everything else in this app, and what works the best in certain scenarios.
Ever since I got this app, which you can get on iTunes for only $0.99 which is a great deal, I have used it everyday! Not only is it useful for your workplace situations but for everyday life scenarios as well. If you want the extra hand in how to be successful then you absolutely need this app. It is a must have for anyone!
