Consumers take note. The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced that 91,872 pounds of Walmart's Great Value chicken nuggets have been recalled. Bits of plastic were found in some of the packaging.
The products are made by Perdue Farms of Georgia and were sold under the Great Value label in a 1 pound 13 oz bag. Consumers can look for an establishment number “P-33944” as well as a case code of “89008 A0160” on the back of the packaging. These bags have a “BEST IF USED BY” date of June 9, 2011.
Consumers who have purchased these recalled products should return them to place of purchase for a full refund.
