This week is prime time to get yourself set up for next Halloween! Sales abound on costumes, makeup, and other spooky items that are sure to make your skin crawl!
Be sure to check out the seasonal, Halloween-specific stores (Spirit Halloween Store) as they are marking down all items 50%, and that's probably just the beginning. We visited the one off Independence Blvd in Matthews yesterday and there were still tons of costumes (all sizes, mens, womens, childrens, and pets), wigs, makeup, accessories, and scary decorations. We were able to pick up several pumpkin carving kits for next to nothing that'll provide us with endless hours of fun next year. I was also able to pick up my costume for next year for under $10. Deep discounts will probably only increase as the stores seek to unload their inventory so that they can close down for the season, so be sure to check it out.
And, don't forget to get to your favorite retailers to take part in the mad rush for discounted post-Halloween candy! No, I'm not going to advocate that you save it for next year (that would just be crazy), but if you'll purchase candy that doesn't come in Halloween-specific wrappers, you've got instant stocking stuffers for kids (of all ages) for Christmas this year!
