- July is prime Slurpee time—7-11 reports that 40 percent of all Slurpee drinks are sold during the summer months of June, July and August—and half of all Slurpee drinks are sold between 4 p.m and 11 p.m. What does this mean for you? The free Slurpee Day drinks are only good for as long as supplies last, so hit your local 7-11 early on Saturday.
- To cure brainfreeze—Slurpees are served at a temperature of 28 degrees—press your tongue against the roof of your mouth.
- The average Slurpee drinker’s age is 29, so you adults out there, don’t feel sheepish about filling up a cup for yourself—you’re not alone!
