Having a cookout?  Check out the weekly sales circulars from PublixWinn Dixie, and Sweetbay for some deals and BOGO bargains.

Sonic has a BOGO on their real ice cream shakes. Buy one and get one with your order, or get a coupon for a free shake the next time you visit.

There’s still time to reserve a preview sample of the new Spicy Chicken Sandwich at Chick-Fil-A. Try it for free next week, before it’s added to the regular menu in June. Quantities are limited. Reservations are still available at the Tyrone Square Mall, Tyrone Blvd., St. Pete Beach, and Oldsmar restaurants. Register at the Chick-Fil-A website.

Going to Ikea this weekend? Ikea is offering a free breakfast to customers Memorial Day weekend (May 29-31). This offer is good for one small (99-cent) breakfast and a cup of coffee.

Kids eat free Saturday and Sunday at Steak ‘n Shake. Families can order 1 free kids’ plate for every $8 spent.

It’s the final weekend for two local farmers’ markets:

The Young Anglers Inshore Fishing Tournament takes place Saturday, May 29th at Hubbard’s Marina and the Friendly Fisherman Restaurant at John's Pass. The contest has three divisions: age 5 and under (entry fee $15); ages 6-10 (entry fee $25); and ages 11-15 (entry fee $25).
