Hundreds of comic book stores across the country will be participating in Free Comic Book Day, this Saturday, May 1, 2010.
Free Comic Book Day is an annual event held on the first Saturday in May where participating comic book shops around the world give away comic books absolutely free to anyone who comes into their stores.
The free comics typically include a variety of titles that change each year. You can view this year's selected comics on the official Free Comic Book Day website. The quantity and variety of comics offered at each participating location may vary. Each store will have their own policies regarding how many free comics each guest can receive. Check with your local retailer for details
