Throughout our history, we had had to come to the aid of many allies and neighbors, and selflessly have spilled American blood on foreign soil to defeat tyrants and dictators and free those who suffered under their heavy hand.
Few have had the courage to face America down and wage war against this righteous might of a freedom loving people. To the contrary, The empire of Japan snuck in and delivered what they hoped would be a knock-out blow that would cause America to shrink back, but they discovered the truth in the words spoken by their own Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto, “I fear all we have done is awaken a sleeping giant.”
Adolf Hitler and his Nazi thugs feared American entry into WWII for good reason, and only declared war after Pearl Harbor. Hitler dared not face America down in a fight even though Germany had many years head start in preparation for war.
More recently, cowards like al Qaida ignorantly thought that if they delivered a “sucker punch” on 9-11 that we would never have the stomach or will to strike back…they have been finding the error of their strategy for 9 years.
These days however, we have many in Washington, Hollywood and the so called “elite” and enlightened who are far too willing to apologize and beg the world to forgive us. I for one am sickened by this cowardly mindset. America need offer NO apology to any nation or government. We have EARNED the stature we possess by nature of the sacrifices that America has made and the many lives we have sacrificed for freedom. Left wing nuts like Michael Moore, Bill Maher and even current President Obama can like it or leave it IMHO. I make no apology for America or myself in this matter.
I often wonder where we would be today had our founding fathers been as cowardly as the current crop of “leaders” in Washington. What would the result of WWII be had this current president been in office prior to December 7, 1941. Thank God that we have had leaders who were in the right position at the right times in history.
America will always rise to the challenge and push back against evil and threats to freedom wherever it appears. The American people have always shown the resolve to fight through to victory regardless of the foe or the hardship.
I am proud to be an American. I am even more proud of my country, the greatest nation on the earth, the United States of America.
