This weekend the weather outlook looks great. The forecast calls for moderate temperatures and sunny days. Why not take advantage of this awesome weekend to wear the best scents the season has to offer?

Prada Infusion De Vetiver by Prada

This fragrance was developed by perfumer Daniela Andrier who also created the original Prada Infusion D'Homme scent. The notes of this fragrance include Purple Ginger, Tarragon, and Madagascan pepper. One day I was in Lord & Taylor at the Garden State Plaza in Paramus NJ looking for something new and I found this Prada bottle. I noticed that it had a different design. I thought to myself wow, I have been waiting for this and here it is! I got this amazing presence of ginger which I really thought was citrus. My initial reaction was felt by others when I found out that the ginger in this fragrance gave the impression of grapefruit. The fragrance experience was different than Infusion De Homme but at times familiar to that original scent. The difference with the new fragrance was refreshing and I preferred it. I really love this scent every time I wear it. Pair the awesome scent with Prada's wonderful packaging and its long lasting presence and you have a real winner here! Highly recommended. Don't miss this one. The fragrance retails for $74 for a 3.4oz bottle and $100 for a 6.7 oz size.

A-Men Sunessence Summerstorm fragrance

This is an superb fragrance for memorial day, a hot weekend, or any holiday weekend in the summer. The blend of patchouli and coffee creates an exciting fragrance experience. A-Men Sunessence is a lighter version of the Angel fragrance developed by perfumer Jacques Huclier. I first spotted this fragrance at Nordstrom in Short Hills, NJ. At first I thought it would be another flanker that wouldn't captivate me. None of the stores near me had a tester when the fragrance first appeared. I called Nordstrom beauty hotline in Seattle and had a sample made for me. I put it on and my original thoughts turned 180 degrees. The coffee was less dominant and the patchouli took hold.   I kept wanting to smell it again and again so I knew I had to return to Nordstrom to get it. The single size $70 fragrance can now be found at many fine department stores including Bloomingdales.

Kristiansand New York

I thought I'd save the very best for last. This is what I call an everyday scent because it is easy wear and such a pleasure to experience. The fragrance consists of mandarin, amber, musk, and powdery notes. It was created by Pierre Constantin-Gueros at Drom Fragrances. The fragrance was a dream come through for two people from Norway, Britt Hovde Ross and Elisabeth Steen who met each other for the first time at a Soho store opening. Elisabeth's background in fragrance marketing and Britt's passion created a project that would become Kristiansand New York, a fusion of two places so faraway from each other who meet in the cosmopolitan city. I met Britt and Elisabeth at Sniffapalooza's legendary Spring Fling 2010, a place where one can meet and talk with perfumery's rising stars. This $65 fragrance comes in a 1.7 oz size and is available at www.kristiansandnewyork.com , Cry Wolf in NYC, and NYC-JC Luxury Suites in Jersey City, NJ. The fragrance is an Eau De Cologne with a 15% concentration. It was made to please.

Have an awesome three day weekend and don't forget to bring these scents along! For more great summer fragrances, check out Kelly Podorsek's article at www.examiner.com/x-55963-Tucson-Fragrance-Examiner~y2010m6d27-Perfect-Summer-Perfumes .
