All hail the queen. Queen Latifah that is. One of the most well-renowned hip hop pioneers, successful female rapper, actress, singer, record label owner and cosmetic line face behind Cover Girl’s Queen collection has a new business plan—and it smells like Cognac, vanilla, Egyptian musk and other “royal” aromas.
Her perfume, Queen by Queen Latifah recently released, and Queen Latifah will be at Chicago’s Macy’s location at 12 p.m. on November 28 located at 111 N. State St.
Queen by Queen Latifah perfume consumers will get the chance to meet Queen Latifah, sample her perfume and purchase the $134 deal fragrance kit.
“The $134 package includes body butter, lotion, a charm, a free bag and a .25 ounce miniature bottle of perfume,” said makeup artist and Macy’s women’s fragrance employee, TeLisa.
Those Chicagoans or other Macy’s visitors who show up to Macy’s women’s department before November 25 to lock in their spot to meet Queen Latifah will automatically have the opportunity to meet with her instead of waiting in line.
