Bitter melon extract significantly reduces the growth of breast cancer and holds potential as a preventative against the disease.
Dr. Ratna Ray, of St. Louis University, reported in the American Association for Cancer Research, that Bitter melon extract significantly decreases “reproduction, cell growth, and stimulated cell death in breast cancer cells”, but cautions that more studies are needed.?? Dr. Ratna goes on to suggest that oral supplementation with the extract could indeed prevent the onset of breast cancer.
